Ideogram Dictionary

The project brief in this instance was simply "layers." I set about exploring the subject of semiotics- the layers of meaning possessed by a sign. The end result was the development of a theoretical "visual esperanto" - a language formed of symbols, by which any phenomenon or idea could be communicated. This was presented in the form of a small handbook (ideogram dictionary) and a number of posters to be decoded with its aid.
